NEWS
FROM DENNIS AND NOLENE PRINCE
Greetings,
worshippers, and thank you for visiting our website. We
are delighted to be able to serve you in this vital area
of Praise and Worship. The following is some of our family
news for the many friends we have made in this work over
the years.
We
are now located back at the church we co-pioneered many
years ago – the Christian Resource Centre in Heatherton,
Melbourne. Nolene helps with the music and I do some teaching
and preaching.
Our
son Matthew and his wife Rachael attend there too. They
have a new baby – Alana Maree– their first.
She is an absolute gem. We are all very proud.
Our
second daughter Rebecca also attends the church, with her
husband Alexei. They arrived in Australia from Russia at
5am on Christmas Day 2004. There was huge rejoicing. This
was Alexei’s introduction to Australia and Bec had
been away for such a long time!
Our
elder daughter Kirsten and husband Kristin live in Sydney
with two year old Kiara and baby Josiah. They are planning
to shift to Pasadena, California, later this year so that
Kirsten can attend Fuller Theological Seminary. Very exciting.
They attend the Hillsong Church and are active there.
We
continue to produce two new releases of songs each year.
The recording is being done by Carl Laurens and Adrian Murley
at City Life Church (formerly Waverley Christian Fellowship)
Melbourne.
A
new innovation in our work has been the ability to download
individual song tracks from the internet. Nolene’s
nephew, Michael Gilmour has been instrumental in arranging
this.
I
am working on a major project at the moment – a book
about the words of the songs we sing. We have studied and
taught on this theme for probably ten years or more and
have accumulated a great deal of info. We are hoping it
will be a help to songwriters, worship leaders, pastors
and all worshippers. We aim to have it out by the end of
2005.
Our
other book “Eternity – the Vision of Marietta
Davis” – has now sold more than 5000 copies
in Australia. It is a rewrite of an inspiring 150 year old
story of a vision of heaven given to a 25 year old girl.
We have received many testimonies from people whose lives
have been touched by the story, especially women who have
had miscarriages or who have lost small children. The story
includes a section describing how infants are cared for
in heaven.
God
bless you all.
